The light will get dimmer as the children fall into sleep gradually at night.
The light will get dimmer with the time gose by, so it is no need for parents to close the lamp for their children which may disturb the dreams their children. And the lamp will also accompany with the children who may afraid of the darkness until they fall asleep.
