Design makes life better—why and how? The answer is not only about solving daily problems. It is about bringing freshness to our tedious routine. ZLIP, designed by Lik Wong and Niki Leung, makes clips no longer hard-to-store, but look like the “tickets” awarded in the indoor amusement centers, which may add some relish to your working life.

Niki and Lik worked together seamlessly for they both aim to think outside the box for infinite possibilities. They brainstorm to stimulate thinking, and this is the very beginning of ZLIP.

Surprising Source of Inspiration

Th idea of ZLIP does not come from the design of other stationery, “we would not limit ourselves, but paid attention to all categories of products.", recalled by Lik. When they surprisingly realized that the “tickets” in the indoor amusement centers are connected together in a “Ziczag” pattern, a breakthrough took place.

In addition to the function and creativity, Niki emphasizes aesthetics. "To provide the best user experience, we must pay attention to aesthetic details and shall not sacrifice it for functionality, no matter how extraordinary the design is,", said Niki.
