SMART DESIGN GLOBAL 2026 – Overseas Roving Exhibition First Debut & Shines at Mega Show Bangkok 2026
Hong Kong, 20 July 2026 – Smart Design Global (SDG) successfully held its first overseas exhibition of the year at Mega Show Bangkok 2026, fully showcasing the outstanding creativity of Hong Kong design. During the event, the SDG booth welcomed over 2,000 visitors and received an enthusiastic response.
In addition to presenting 43 awarded products from this year’s Corporate Group, 15 representatives from the winning design companies also attended the exhibition in person. They showcased both their awarded products and brand collections, engaging directly with buyers from various regions to explore business opportunities. The exhibition covered all four categories of this year’s awards, comprehensively presenting the diverse creativity and innovative capabilities of Hong Kong designers.
Participants gave high praise to the show. Designers and company representatives unanimously agreed that Mega Show Bangkok possesses high potential and serves as an effective platform for connecting with quality and high-potential buyers. Through this event, SDG also officially launched its overseas roving exhibition programme.
Special thanks are extended to Ms. Helena Chiu, Chairman of the Hong Kong Exporters’ Association, for her strong support of SDG. Chairman Chiu visited the booth in person to encourage the designers and held in-depth discussions with the organisers to understand the show’s performance, while exploring ways to further support Hong Kong designers in expanding into international markets.
This successful participation marks an important milestone in SDG’s efforts to promote the development of Hong Kong’s creative industries and assist designers in exploring business opportunities both locally and regionally.
