The QCAMGEAR cap mount is a modular, first-person FOV (Field of View) mount designed to attach an action camera to a cap. Its Quick Detach (QD) function allows for easy removal of the action camera, providing access to the touch screen, swapping out memory cards, replacing the battery, and switching mount methods—all without removing the cap or the mount, thus avoiding misalignment of the camera angle. The cap mount features two points of contact: a rear Velcro hook compatible with caps that have Velcro patches, and a front slot for securing the cap's brim.
