Replacement of the traditional paper red banner“Fai Chun”to reduce the waste.
Chinese red banner “Fai Chun” is a traditional decoration with New Year messages of good luck. It is mainly used to decorate the main entrance of your house/room during Lunar New Year. However, this traditional activity generates enormous festival waste every year, as people throw away the red banner after use.
E-paper may help to mitigate the issues. It can be reuse and also renew the content every year. It doesn't require any power to maintain the image. These is no usage difference between paper red banner and e-paper red banner.
