To mark the occasion of tramplus’s first Interschool STEM competition, tramplus collaborated with local galvanized iron artisan Naam to upcycle and transform tram materials reclaimed from Whitty Street Tram Depot. The one-of-a-kind handmade trophy is composed of silhouettes of single and double-decker trams, symbolizing the evolution and endless possibilities of Hong Kong Tram. Inside, the trophy incorporates genuine materials used in tram manufacturing, such as copper, iron and wood, conveying the message that the award-winning students can shape the future of trams. This beautifully aligns with the competition's theme, "Modernizing Hong Kong Icons: Embracing Smart City and Sustainability."
tramplus與本地白鐵工匠合作,升級再造由屈地街車廠回收的電車素材,匠心打造本地手作獎盃。外層為單層及雙層電車剪影,鼓勵學生利用創科才能持續發展電車。
